VoIP Processing: Bases for Implementing QoS Networks

Abstract

This article details general features, basis, considerations and aspects to be taken into account when implementing Voice over IP in QoS networks of technologies associated with IP networks and services within a convergent technological environment. In addition, the author proposes the creation of a document containing the enterprise standards in which parameters and their ranges, as well as values recommended by international organizations in compliance with the requirements of a network supporting VoIP are defined. References to the tests carried out for acceptance protocols of these technologies before set them in motion are made.
