Abstract

The article illustrates the installation of a LAN network based on PLC technology in the High School Rubén Martínez Villena, in Siboney. Advantages and flexibility for introducing a national connectivity among schools from the Education Ministry through its Internet Service Provider, RIMED, by combining ADSL and PLC access technologies are highlighted.
