Strategy for implementing telework in ETECSA

With the COVID-19, the Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba, S.A, (ETECSA) increased the use of teleworking to guarantee the health of its employees and the fulfillment of the company’s objectives, showing that it is feasible to use this work organization modality in the entity. Nevertheless, the results of the developed diagnoses to evaluate the effectiveness of teleworking showed that it is necessary to design and implement improvements in several systems and procedures of the organization that allow their consolidation. Therefore, the importance of developing a strategy to achieve the effective implementation of teleworking in the key processes of ETECSA. During the research the following methods were used: historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, Induction-Deduction and the techniques; surveys, interviews and SWOT matrix. As a result, it was possible to design and implement the necessary technologies to guarantee the processes of improvement in the development of teleworking in ETECSA.
