Abstract

The Information Technology Company (ETI) has a VoIP telephony project (Voice over Internet Protocol), existing in more than 70% of the different entities and laboratories of BioCubaFarma, in addition to having the interconnection of these entities using fiber optics, allowing a considerable increase in the speed and quality of the services provided. So, a study is done to offer Communications as Services of its acronym in English CaaS (CaaS), which are among the firstlevel paradigms in the world of Information Technology, deploying on that technological gateway of the ETI, the necessary communications software and technologies. And in this way achieve the reduction of costs for payments in the telephone rate, since the corporate data network of BioCubaFarma would be used to make telephone calls without the need to use the PSTN network (ETECSA telephone network). In addition to recreating conference rooms in which all members of the Board of Directors of companies can participate without having to move from one entity to another, which would facilitate fuel and time savings, in accordance with the current economic development policy. from the country.
