Transformation to the management model of ETECSA’s human resources

This article is highly important to increase the business management effectiveness in the Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A (ETECSA), taking into account that in the current context, the technologies convergence itself force telecommunications operators to modify their business models rapidly and therefore, the human resources management model changes in order to go along with the leaders of these organizations in facing these challenges.
In this sense, the author set as a general objective the design and implementation of a human resources management model in ETECSA, using the good practices implemented in similar telecommunications enterprises around the world. With this end, the author studied different models and trends, and diagnosed the situation of the enterprise and proposed a model that corresponds to the enterprise’s own characteristics.
