Tool for DTVC data center remote management using IVR system

This paper presented Asterisk as a solution to the need of a remote management means of the servers of the Territorial Division of ETECSA in Villa Clara (DTVC). It is accessible to the datacenter administrators, not only from the IP network, but also from the subscriber public network (PSTN). Functionalities presenting Asterisk as an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for monitoring, overseeing and identifying faults from anywhere of the country, 24 hours a day, on the corporate network servers were developed . It results in an improvement of «service availability» indicator of DTVC.
