Approximation to Language behavior regarding Science and Technological Magazines

Abstract

The information plays a significant role in the creation of knowledge. Publications, specially, the Science and Technological Magazines constitute an access path to the science and technological knowledge generated everyday worldwide. However, this investigation work is published in the language of the country where it takes place, therefore, there is a linguistic diversity. The current tendency to use a single language or lingua franca can restrict the development and the scientific production of a nation by leaving the national language in a second place and imposing on researchers the adoption of discursive styles and cultural models coming from foreign researches. This article deals with the evolution and the current state of publication languages in science and technological magazines.
