Abstract

In this work, a computer tool that uses MS Excel as a graphical user interface combined with macros programmed in Visual Basic is shown, for evaluating the technical and economic impact of the introduction of photovoltaic systems connected to network in the Telecommunications Centers and Commercial Offices of ETECSA. This tool plays an important role in deciding offers with higher economic impacts, since it allows the identification of the displaced load percentage, annual savings, and investment recovery period.
