Abstract

The Cuban mobile network is a heterogeneous network that has had a growing technological deployment in the last five years. The gradual increase of network users and sales promotions have led to a dramatic growth of telephone traffic, with impact on the load processing of the network main nodes. The complexity and size of the mobile network have grown too, so that the individual traffic supervision on each node and route is no longer the primary way to find solutions to problems that arise in high-traffic days. In this paper, an integrated solution to monitor the whole mobile network in real-time and to identify, at a glance, those nodes and routes having higher stress is proposed in order to take the necessary actions to maintain network vitality.
