The development of Linux as a free platform and the emergence of VoIP as a technology for voice transmission through IP networks led to the outbreak of IP PBX based on free software, enabling the emergence of various PBX as Asterisk, FreeSwitch and Yate. Despite this huge development, it is necessary not only to confi-gure, manage and monitor these PBX, but also to guarantee communications security during the implementation of these solutions in the country. Thus, the Integrated Telecommunications Platform, PLATEL, arises as a national alternative for developing telephony solutions with technological sovereignty and independence.
