Abstract

Many Internet users have been affected by a fraud modality called Internet Dumping when accessing network resources. Long time calls to specific international destinations, unknown to the client, appears on the telephone bill. This article explains how this phenomenon happens, its basic elements and the implied actors. Finally, a group of important protective measures for voice and data service providers and clients are mentioned.
