Abstract

Simplicity, flexibility and robustness of the SIP protocol, that is shaping up as the opportunity for the future, have gained advantage in the technological environment related to IP networks and services. The author shows how, facing the growing demand of multiconference and multimedia services on real time, developments linked to SIP provide a satisfactory response to these services implementation.
