Abstract

The development and expansion of AI tools and solutions creates opportunities with significant positive effects for nearly all economic, social, and governmental sectors. For the telecommunications industry specifically, the transition to AI presents not only challenges but also opportunities. On the one hand, telecommunications enable AI; however, the increased use of online services based on AI will put additional pressure on connectivity networks, their costs, management, and the sustainability of investments required to maintain and expand them. On the other hand, successfully integrating AI into the optimization and management of the telecommunications value chain creates opportunities to increase business profitability and design value propositions for end users and industrial customers.
