Abstract

An important way to overcome the challenges of today’s society is the insertion of companies and organizations in the process of cultural and technological change that is developed in the environment of industry 4.0. The process of organizational change focused on digital transformation is a challenging alternative offering the possibility of achieving better results. The evolution towards a new form of management is described through the implementation of new models of business, process optimization, innovation, continuous improvement and customer- oriented, focused on digitalization. This change is marked by the disruptive nature of the technological trends that underpin it and the degree of utilization achieved by the available digital talent. The change process towards digital transformation is complex, and it is not always clear how to implement it. Based on a study of digital maturity models, standards, regulatory framework and global best practices, using theoretical, empirical and statistical mathematical methods, the article proposes the TETR4DIG, a model that shows a graphical representation of the concept from the authors’ point of view, designed to contribute through consulting services, to understand, diagnose and route the way in this process. The tool can facilitate the exchange of expertise, information and technology among different economic and social actors.
