Abstract

This article describes the data services from fixed and mobile networks, prepaid card services belonging to the fixed network and Intelligent Network services in Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A. known as ETECSA as well as their evolution in the network. Given the need for the service convergence in the offer provided by the company, there are many changes to be made in the telecommunications network, addressing only the convergence of these services with a look from the business support systems (BSS). An integration proposal is made taking into account the BSS and OCS (Online Charging System) systems, which guarantees one of the first steps in the Fixed-Mobile convergence. The historical-logical and deductive methods were used for that purpose.
