Procedure to Implement Internet of Things

Abstract

This article proposes a procedure to implement Internet of Things (IoT), which is based on the customer’s goals to achieve the deployment of a solution that faithfully meets them. This procedure allows listing, from the very beginning, relevant requirements based on the analysis of types of data managed for a targeted solution. The usefulness of the proposed procedure was demonstrated from its application in the digitization of the oil wells at Seboruco Oilfield, located in the northern strip of Cuba.
