Internet links using high throughput satellites

Abstract

The widespread increase of the Internet as a strategy of the country has brought an increase in the flow of data through terrestrial networks. This traffic will continue to increase and satellite links must be ready to take over. In this work we propose the use of high performance satellites (High Throughput Satellite, HTS), modems that use the latest DVB-S2, DVB-S2X standards and other equipment features to improve the throughput of internet links satellite. The main objective is "To propose the establishment of Gigabit Ethernet links using high performance satellites".
