Abstract

The vertiginous development of mobile communications, promoted by the growing traffc demand, drives the deployment of networks with better benefts. This research was oriented to the analysis of the transmission and reception of the data flows at the link level in LTE, standard for wireless communications as a concept of evolutionary architecture towards the 4th generation. In this analysis, the LTE System Toolbox ™ of MATLAB R2018a was used as a simulation tool to model the transmission scheme of the physical layer and measure the Throughput of the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); varying the transmission scheme used based on the propagation models defned by 3GPP. It was obtained for the different reference channels defned for the PDSCH, the minimum SNR values required to exceed the % threshold of the Throughput established for optimal transmission. In addition, the capabilities of MIMO frame-by-frame techniques were validated. By this way the performance parameters of the LTE systems are analyzed.
