Abstract

Currently in Telecommunications Company of Cuba S.A., has a structure that includes within the Human Capital Central Management to the Directorate of Training and Development, as the guiding area of the training process. Despite having a management system that automates part of the training process, it becomes diffcult to analyze all the information that it generates and necessary to support the decisions that are made. In this research, a solution based on a data warehousing architecture for data analysis is developed, using a bottom-up construction approach. The specifc indicators associated with the fulfllment of the training plan with their respective perspectives of analysis are taken as reference, creating a data market, using the steps defned in the HEFESTO V2.0 methodology. The solution is presented as support for the decision making of managers and specialists at the different levels involved in the training process. It incorporates automated processes of extraction, transformation and loading of transactional and historical data, references to training management, towards a data market. Analytical tools, using the Pentaho Suite version 6.1, allowed to perform deeper analysis, reduce the time spent in recovery tasks and data organization; as well as having the historical information available.
