Abstract

In this article the author details how the development and installation of fiber optic was characterised by the necessity to fulfil certain network requirements. Moreover, he presents the multi-mode and singlemode fiber optic such as SMF, DSF, DFSMF, NZDSF, DCF; and how today the type of network used in telecommunications is taken into consideration in order to install the suitable fiber optic.
