Abstract

This article proposes a design for a Wi- Fi network located at the “Parque Central” in Old Havana, based on a design that meets all the requirements standardized in the country. ETECSA, for the implementation of this proposal, mainly follows the typical aspects of the standard 802.11n, including the characteristics of the waves’ propagation that can deteriorate the quality of the communication at a given moment. For the design of the network was used a software that allowed to enter the measurements taken and the different AP, specific for the site being studied, to later run the simulations with ETECSA's equipment, destined to develop these projects.
