Abstract

This article’s object is to assess the technological alternatives for ETECSA available in Pinar del Río province, based on the simulation and pilot tests of technological scenarios for State Large Costumers with the available equipment, in order to provide 2Mbps bandwidths speed links to its corporate customers. With that aim, the optical fiber is used in the last mile, making the most of the facilities of the NELT-B card connected to the DSLAM 7302 of the Quidway S2300 Huawei switch, which has a bay for SFP of FO and Router AR1833 Huawei.
