Nauta: Computer solution for the collective navigation rooms of ETECSA

Abstract

Computer solution Nauta was created for allowing users to access different services such as email and Internet browsing from computers in collective navigation rooms placed by ETECSA. This article exposes the evolution of the computer solution Nauta on tools available in the market; both open source and free download tools, through which in a working environment the user accessing to the different services should authenticate properly and have a balance to carry out these actions. The implementation of this computer solution results in a national product suitable for the planned network infrastructure and deployed by the company for this purpose.
