Implementation of Remote System for Compression Data Acquisition

Abstract

Today, the compression of telephone lines constitutes the most used method for preserving electrical parameters of twisted-pair cables. Its implementation must be built on appropriate monitoring and management methods. The current monitoring and management method requires the electrical connection of the Adquisition Unit with the pressure transducers through telephone lines. Due to the high costs of these Acquisition Units, the Remote System for Compression Data Acquisition was implemented. This article is a review of the main features of compression and the implementation of the System in 21 localities of the country.
