A Model for Developing Composite Applications based on SOA

Organizations are seeking rapid answers to the growing needs of the market. Among the current difficulties, there is a lack of interoperability in the existing solutions to solve system integration requirements. Alignment through business and Information Technologies represents a benefit attributed to service-oriented architectures. Composite applications, by reusing software components, offer advantages in the search of organizational agility; but its development, deployment and maintenance are complex aspects. This article proposes an integrated model to develop and deploy composite applications which aims at describing and representing different technological and knowledge elements, and its interrelation with an information smart choice component that supports decision making proess. This model is addressed to achieve a continuous improving as an integrated system, giving interoperability and promoting the use of standards through the development of composite applications.
