Abstract

This paper presents a study of the aspects considered during the design and installation of the submarine transmission system, at the transport layer, which links Isla de la Juventud with ETECSA’s national transmission system. It also exposes the bandwidth requirements and transmission speeds needed by these new services as well as its deployment using the resources available in the country.
