Abstract

A study on the structure of Huawei core network technology to be implemented in ETECSA GSM network is proposed grounded on the analysis of two methodologies for the dimensioning of core network interfaces over VoIP networks. One of them is provided by Huawei, the other one is presented by professors of the Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) of New Jersey. On this basis, bandwidth calculations are made for each interface and an assessment of the results is presented.
