Abstract

The present paper conducts a preliminary analysis for the staggered application of broadband technologies in a hypothetical Cuban Access network, which could guarantee the evolution process of Information Society in its supplying territory. The paper outlines some broadband technologies for existing access networks in the market area and it proposes possible solutions for a staggered deployment.
