Abstract

Based on the fact that the telecommunications network is vulnerable to failures in its structure, the present work gives a preliminary approach to the issue of criticality in the PSTN segment of ETECSA, as well as its power support according to engineering techniques. Besides, it provides a methodology for determining the critical systems of the company. On the other hand, the concepts of operational reliability and criticality analysis are defined as work tools for implementing improvement programs of operational reliability in the modern enterprise.
