Abstract

Information and knowledge management is the mainstay for optimal socialization of scientific knowledge within the organizational context. Specialized magazines show a marked trend towards the digitalization of their content online. And information repositories, accessible through Internet, have become a robust strategy to offer integrated management solutions and open access. This paper proposes the methodological and systemic basis for the creation of a digital repository to manage, integrally, the information published in the technical journal Tono, using free software for information management in order to organize, search, retrieve and disseminate published information in a fast, efficient, interoperable, interactive and visible way.
