A Proposal of Content Structure in ETECSA´s Intranet release 1.0

The use of Internet technology and its applications within modern organizations has become an effective resource that favors internal communication. Intranets have evolved considerably, incorporating new tools that affect workers and companies productivity and, at the same time, have facilitated the dissemination of information effectively. The article examines the major issues of information architecture within the production process of a Web application, based on an analysis of the existing information resources available in ETECSA´s Intranet and a study of its pages statistics indicators. According to the results, we propose a content structure compatible with communication and information management in the Company. Finally, processes design and flow diagrams involved in the Web application are described.
