Abstract

Case-based reasoning is a new paradigm that provides, on the one hand, a cognitive model of the organization of memory, reasoning and human learning; and, on the other hand, it offers a new Artificial Intelligence technique for computer systems development. Today, information is considered as a key product in any business. In the entrepreneurial environment, it adds value, usefulness and importance. Hence, the need of guaranteing its security, which relies on three mainstays: technology, processes and people, the latter has the main role. This paper designs and implements a case base and generates a computer security expert that helps in the decision making, based on the information related to the main security violation events within the Organization.
