SIGTA, Management Platform Oriented to Telecommunications Operators

Abstract

Nowadays, the World Communication Operators have reorganized their resources over the basis of management methods full of novelties. The author exposes how the software SIGTA House of ETECSA, has designed a Management Platform oriented to telecommunications operators. The Integral System of Traffic and Alarms Management (SIGTA) is an Integrated Management Platform of Networks, Hardware, Base Software and Application Software that allows the services and networks management in real time. The author explains its purposes, characteristics, operation areas, the technological frame, its functional architecture, management modules, goals and advantages, potential clients, the international operators who have already implemented it, the steps to follow and the tangible benefits of this platform.
