Abstract

Nowadays, information is considered a strategic resource of great value; so, its management is a vital element in modern organizations. This paper proposes a model that takes into account the fundamental aspects for the evaluation of management information systems. This model allows the diagnosis of information, organization, technological and human resources with a focus on the processes. It covers theoretical and methodological issues associated with information management and information system development in the entrepreneurial environment which contribute to the work organization, information resources use, process integrity, and new applications implementation.
