Abstract

The study of business Information Systems has become more complex due to digital era advent. Different business typologies based on Information Technology coexist in a very changing environment where they have to meet organizational, technological and managerial needs of an organization. This paper proposes a review of the major concepts related to IS and Business Models which are based on IT, in order to reveal their main characteristics and typologies.
