Abstract

In order to improve health, security and environment at work and to increase directors and workers awareness about the importance of this activity as well as its interrelation with other entrepreneurial management systems, ETECSA is implementing NC 18001:2005 which rules the performance of management systems on Occupational Health and Security. This article presents a management model for Occupational Health and Security designed for a specific area of the Enterprise. Besides, the implementation phases adopted are described. A group of indicators to assess the system efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness were selected and compared their behaviour.
