Abstract

Good communications are vital to improve life quality in distant areas. However, the cost of power used to operate these systems and the cost of traditional systems maintenance has limited their exploitation. The use of Photovoltaic (PV) systems has allowed solving different problems in spreading and modernizing ETECSA’s communication network, particularly in wireless local Access network, wireless network terminals and cellular mobile systems.
