Abstract

Today, society computerization is a fact. Many informatics systems have been developed to perform, support and control various daily activities and processes. The use and management of information is a real strategy to guarantee competitive advantage and success at both levels, professional and personal. This article presents concepts related to Data Discovery and Data Mining. A detailed analysis is made on tools, functionalities and methodologies implemented by Oracle Corporations. Some examples about their usage are given.
