Audit System for Entrepeneurial Management in ETECSA

Abstract

First, the author gives an overall picture regarding the telecommunications situation in Cuba at the creation of ETECSA in 1994 and its first ten years of work as the basis for the formation and development of the Audit System. Then, he explains the need to apply new technologies to minimize human mistakes through the introduction of state-of-the-art computerized systems and the creation of an internal control process. Besides, he details the purchasing and functioning of computing tools within the Audit Management Office to achieve efficiency and efficacy at work.
